Before the Permanent Make Up!

When do we not perform permanent makeup?

  • During pregnancy and breastfeeding
  • Under 18 years of age
  • Allergic reactions
  • Blood thinners
  • In case of infectious diseases
  • Under the influence of alcohol and drugs

If you have set a date for your permanent makeup and you follow these small rules before the appointment, all conditions are in place for the procedure to be as successful as possible.

For the maximum success of the service at the scheduled appointment, we recommend the following:

  • Especially important is proper hydration to prevent dryness of the lips, so special attention should be paid to lip care in the period before the tattooing, to ensure they are not cracked or dry, which can hinder pigment integration.
  • If you have previously had herpes on your lips, we recommend a doctor-prescribed Telviran (800 mg) treatment before the procedure.
  • To avoid sun damage, avoid strong UV radiation 3-4 days before the tattooing. We cannot perform the tattooing in case of skin redness or burn injuries.
  • Removal of 3D false eyelashes is necessary before eyeliner tattooing.
  • Vision correction devices, such as contact lenses, can interfere with the procedure, so please bring your glasses with you.
  • Skin exfoliation and deep cleansing facial treatments are not recommended before the tattooing to ensure the skin is in its best condition.
  • On certain days of the menstrual cycle, the skin can be more sensitive, so it’s worth considering this when scheduling your permanent makeup.
  • On the day of the procedure, avoid high-caffeine drinks and alcohol, as these can increase bleeding.
  • We recommend tinting your eyebrows at least a month before eyebrow tattooing.
  • For the tattooing, it is necessary that natural hair growth is visible, so the new shape and line can be precisely formed.
  • Please do not remove eyebrow hair before the tattooing, as existing eyebrow hairs help us to create the most appropriate shape. Avoiding prior hair removal ensures that the result is truly unique and perfectly suited to your own features.

These guidelines serve the best interests of our guests and the achievement of excellent results, although they are not mandatory, their consideration is advised.

Aftercare

  • DAY 1 After completing the tattoo, avoid the following activities for two weeks: sunbathing, tanning beds, intense physical activity, public bathing, sauna, steam bath. Makeup on the tattooed area is also prohibited during the healing period. If you want long-term protection for your tattoo, use a high SPF cream when exposed to the sun or going to a tanning bed. For the first 3 hours, gently clean the eyebrows every 15 minutes with a slightly damp cotton pad. Swelling may occur for eye and lip tattoos, which is completely natural. The sensitive area can be soothed with ice gel wrapped in cloth. It’s important that the ice gel does not directly touch the skin to avoid freezing injuries. Apply cold compresses in 30-minute cycles, with a 5-minute break in between to allow the skin to properly regenerate.

  • DAY 2 Clean the eyebrows every 3 hours with a slightly damp cotton pad. A scab forms due to the oxidation of the pigment in the tattooed area, which is a natural part of the healing process. The pigment may appear darker than it was immediately after the procedure.

  • DAYS 3-6 Fine cracks appear in the eyebrows. The eyebrows can start peeling at any time. If your eyebrows itch, you can use a thin layer of aftercare cream. Apply the cream very thinly with cotton. Never use your fingers, as they have many bacteria and can cause infection. The scab on the lips typically falls off within 3-4 days, on other areas usually within a week. During this time, the color of the tattooed area may seem paler.

  • DAYS 6-15 The scab falls off, and the eyebrows may appear patchy. It may seem that the color has completely disappeared. This is part of the natural healing process and is completely fine. The scab falls off separately. IMPORTANT! The thinner the scab and the longer it stays on the eyebrows, the more color remains in the skin, and the better it sets. Under no circumstances should you peel off the scab, as you could also pull out the pigment, leaving your eyebrows patchy or completely colorless. If after the treatment you notice any imperfections or find the color unsatisfactory, do not worry, during the correction treatment we will perfect every little detail.
