Frequently Asked Questions:

Which eyebrow technique is right for me?

Choosing the perfect method depends on the density, growth and overall condition of your natural brows:

• Powder Brows

Ideal for clients with naturally fuller brows or for those whose eyebrow hairs still grow well. Powder Brows create a soft, gently shaded, makeup-like finish.

• Hyperrealistic Hairstrokes / Nano Brows

The best choice for sparse, thin or uneven brows. This technique recreates ultra-fine, realistic hair strokes for an extremely natural look.

• Hybrid Brows

A combination of hairstrokes and soft shading—providing both fullness and a natural appearance. A versatile option suitable for nearly all brow types.

What can I expect during the healing process?

Permanent makeup heals in approximately 6 weeks, progressing through two distinct phases.

Days 1–3:

A thin, dry scab begins to form on the treated area. This is the skin’s natural response to healing. During this time, the pigment appears darker and more intense.

Days 4–14:

The scab starts to flake off gradually and typically falls away in small pieces by day 10–14.
Do not pick, scratch, or remove the scabs — allow them to detach naturally to avoid pigment loss or uneven healing.

Weeks 2–4:

It is completely normal for the brows to look very light, patchy, uneven or even “disappeared.”
This happens because the skin temporarily thickens during healing and masks the pigment underneath.

By Week 6:

The skin settles, the pigment resurfaces, and your brows reveal their final, healed color and shape.

Final Results Require Two Steps:
  1. Initial treatment
  2. Perfecting session at 6–8 weeks, where color and symmetry are refined

💡 Pro Tip: Avoid picking, rubbing or applying unapproved products. Proper aftercare ensures beautiful, long-lasting results.

How can I maintain my results long-term?

To keep your brows fresh, natural and well-defined:

• Avoid excessive sun exposure and tanning beds
• Always apply high-SPF sunscreen
• Schedule a touch-up every 12–18 months

Is permanent makeup truly permanent?

Not entirely — and this is precisely what makes it ideal for facial enhancement.

Permanent makeup differs from traditional body tattoos because the pigment is implanted into the upper to mid layers of the skin, rather than deep into the dermis. As the skin naturally renews itself and undergoes metabolic processes, the pigment gradually softens and fades over time.

This gradual fading is actually an advantage, as:

• Facial structure evolves with age, muscle movement and gravity
• Aesthetic preferences and beauty trends continually change
• A lifelong, unchanging tattoo on the face would appear harsh and unnatural

The most refined permanent makeup is subtle — enhancing your natural harmony without looking artificial.
This understated, timeless philosophy is the foundation of every treatment I provide.

How should I prepare before my PMU appointment?

For the best and longest-lasting results, please follow these guidelines:

• Avoid coffee and alcohol on the day of your appointment
• Do not tan or use sunbeds beforehand
• Avoid self-tanners and strong exfoliants on the area
• If you take blood thinners, consult your doctor (they may need to be paused temporarily)
• PMU is not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding

Proper preparation ensures the skin is in optimal condition for treatment.

How long does a PMU treatment take?

Treatment duration varies by technique and skin type:

Powder Brows: 3–4 hours
Hyperrealistic Hairstrokes: 3–4 hours
Hybrid Brows: 3–4 hours
Lip Tattoo (Aquarelle/Full Shading): 3–4 hours
Eyeliner Tattoo: 2–3 hours (depending on style)

Healing and pigment retention may differ based on individual skin characteristics—some skin types require more time to absorb pigment.

Which technique or shade should I choose for lip tattooing?
The ideal method and color are based on your lip shape and natural undertone:
• Aquarelle Lips
Creates a soft, natural, fresh tint — the most popular choice. For color selection, we recommend natural shades such as nude, peachy, soft pink, or light red tones. At your perfecting session (6–8 weeks later), the color can be adjusted, softened or intensified. ✨ The goal: beautifully balanced, natural-looking lips suitable for everyday wear.
Can I get only a lip contour tattoo?
Although commonly requested, a sharp contour-only lip tattoo is no longer considered aesthetically pleasing. It creates a harsh and unnatural appearance, so I do not offer this technique. Modern lip tattooing focuses on soft transitions, subtle color and fuller, fresher-looking lips with a natural gradient effect.
I’ve had herpes before — what should I do before lip tattooing?

If you are prone to cold sores, we strongly recommend taking an antiviral medication (such as Telviran) before the procedure.
This significantly reduces the risk of herpes flare-ups after lip tattooing.
